Jerash House for Bees is a family business, opened by Abu Rashid for his six children and the local community. During Covid, he saw a bee on a plant and was instantly fascinated. His brother upon hearing of this, gave him some supplies and Abu Rashid was hooked. He took advantage of the time and learned about Bees and their importance and the idea for Jerash House for Bees was born.
Located in the Thagret Asfour area, Jerash House for Bees calls home on one of the highest points in the area. Affording views of Jerash, Amman and the West Bank, the facility is 1,200m above sea level. Stepping into the property, your thoughts will be forgotten as you spend time in nature and the surroundings. Built on a multi-levels, you will have lots of space to enjoy the natural surroundings
Abu Rashid and his children will lead you in a variety of activities from beekeeping and harvesting, hiking, feeding chickens and finding eggs and olives harvesting and oil pressing. Wearing the bee keepers protection gear, you will have the full experience of seeing a bee hive, how honey, pollen and beeswax is harvested.
Any experience can begin with a Baladi or country breakfast all prepared by local women.
